Sounding Out is a project exploring outdoor and natural acoustics, architecture and sacred sites. these recordings are documents of in situ improvisations, inspired by the spirit and the special characteristics of a location.
on a trip round wales, a few musical stops offered a nice break from serious hiking. from holywell to llanwrst and betwsycoed, anglesea and north herefordshire… the trend of this series is certainly intimate and remote places, and yet the acoustic qualities are nonetheless wonderful. here are a few moments of inspiration i captured…
